The Corner

Sept. 17 & 18–Now and Then

Kudos to Kate for a wonderful get-together on Saturday. It was

quite a bash and it was great to actually meet the NR/NRO gang and the

NRO readers who attended. It was an honor to be included.

The Civil War buffs among you might be interested in a piece I

did commemorating the 142nd anniversary of the bloodiest day in American

history, 17 September 1862, the battle of Antietam/Sharpsberg. You can

find it here on the Ashbrook site.
