It should be noted that Bill Frist has already said he’ll bring the Castle-DeGette bill that would authorize taxpayer $$ to encourage new embryo-destroying research up for a vote (he’ll be voting on it for Pete’s sake). If Dems hold up the cord-blood bill when First brings it up for unanimous consent around five tonight there is really no good reason for them to do it. Other than they want it their way. Pass the bloody cord-blood bill already. Cord blood works. Quit being the party of snake-oil salesmen and actually vote on investing in real hope.
