What the video suggests will not surprise most NRO readers: The objective of the flotilla dispatched by the Free Gaza Organization and the Islamist IHH movement (Insani Yardim Vakfi) was not to provide humanitarian aid, it was to create a public relations dilemma for the Israelis as a way to break the embargo against the delivery of missiles and other weapons to Hamas.
This just in: The Israeli government announced today that it is “’liberalizing the system by which civilian goods enter Gaza.”
However, missiles, explosives and other weapons will still be disallowed.
