Politico reports that Senator Marco Rubio’s memoir, An American Son, will go on sale on June 19. Originally, publisher Sentinel had scheduled to release the book in October, but Politico says Rubio is “racing a more critical version,” The Rise of Marco Rubio by Manuel Roig-Franzia, which is scheduled for release on July 3.
“National interest in Senator Rubio keeps heating up and we want the book out in the world as quickly as possible,” says Adrian Zackheim, president of Sentinel. “It’s important to the senator and to us that people hear his remarkable story, and that of his family, directly from him.”
