John — Rowling has already announced that she intends to collect her backstory notes, and explanations of life in the Wizarding World into a Harry Potter encyclopedia. As little as she needs more money or fame, it is hard to imagine her giving up a franchise with so many intensely loyal fans. It is also hard to imagine that she, (or any author), can invent yet another whole fictional world quite as successfully as her first.
