Ayres, McHenry and Associates released their latest South Carolina survey today. The poll sampled 300 likely Republican primary voters from October 24-29, with a MoE of 5.6%.
Gov. Romney is statistically tied for the lead with 20%. That’s a 12-point increase from 8% in May.
19% support Giuliani, essentially unchanged from 20% in May, while 17% support McCain, a decrease of 8 points over the same time period. 13% support Thompson, which is statistically unchanged from 16% in May.
13% support another candidate and 18% are undecided.
