The Right at Harvard

Over the weekend, I spoke at a conference sponsored by the Conservative Women’s Caucus at Harvard University — their second annual. What a delightful way to spend a Saturday. There were gals — and guys — from Harvard, Smith College, Mount Holyoke, Emmanuel, and other area colleges. What an impressive group of young people, with great questions, and great enthusiasm. If you’re a conservative leaner around Cambridge, I’d give them a holler.

I also ran into a few Salient writers and staff, who I’ve always been impressed by.

The biggest surprise? Usually when I’m talking to college students, I’m talking to politics majors. This time I met linguist and neuro-biology majors instead — all who are well-rounded enough to pay attention to politics — and even get my Judge Larry joke. That’s a renaissance student!
