Mark, you’re right: Huckabee will not be the Republican nominee, nevertheless, I’m not sure that I’m ready to ‘relax’. Over the last few years, we’ve seen the GOP evolve in a direction that will, I think, take the party closer to becoming an American equivalent of Europe’s Christian Democrats. Huckabee’s success, and the likely response of other non-Paul GOP candidates to it, will, I think, accelerate that trend. And that’s not a good thing.
