I haven’t studied the polls or anything, but it seems to me that picking another white guy could help Bush (or it could backfire, too). If the feminists command a lot of the airtime complaining that the biggest fault of the next nominee is that he’s male, they will look even more outdated and clichéd. That would be good news for Bush. The left has yet to learn that they don’t help themselves when they behave like a caricature. You’d think they would have learned this from the Clinton years when Clinton successfully portrayed all of his critics on the right as firebreathing, knuckle-dragging “angry white men.”
