“Holy frijoles” is right, Jonah. Not only is waiver-seeker Anthony Wiener one of the biggest proponents of the Obama health-care law, but he was also the subject of a Dana Milbank column in today’s Washington Post encouraging other Democrats to fight harder to defend the law.
Weiner has acknowledged previously that the Democrats lost “round one” of the health-care argument. His quest for a waiver will not help the Democrats in their efforts to win round two.
