Re: Steynophobia

Thank you to Stanley for his magnum opus. Very nice, after being praised with the faint damns of The Guardian and The Globe & Mail. In the course of defending himself against similar accusations, the leftie British novelist Martin Amis made the following observation:

When I interviewed Tony Blair earlier this year I asked him if continental demographics had yet become “a European conversation”. He said: “It’s a subterranean conversation.” And we know what that means. The ethos of relativism finds the demographic question so saturated in revulsions that it is rendered undiscussable. As a multiculturist ideologue, Bennett cannot engage with the fact that a) the indigenous populations of Spain and Italy are due to halve every 35 years, and b) this entails certain consequences.

Maybe they’ll be benign, maybe they’ll be not so. I think we should be allowed to discuss the consequences of the Islamification of western nations. But many Muslim lobby groups want to prevent any discussion at all – even though the very same plaintiffs suing over my analysis of the political consequences of Muslim demographics in the west themselves make explicit use of Muslim demographics to further their political goals.
