Michael, I have mixed feelings about Bush’s travel schedule. I’ve long wanted him to avoid the opening games. Since he is there, I do like seeing him at church, talking religious freedom, and getting, reportedly, heated with Putin.
But wouldn’t a Bush-Sarkozy visit to Georgia (and not Russia) make some statement?
