I can’t vouch for the methodology obviously and I’m not entirely sure how many people in that poll would have been aware of the fundraising numbers, but that poll makes some intuitive sense to me. If Romney was hanging around in a close third in NH, it makes sense he would get this kind of boost from the good fundraising news. He has been discounted because of his 3% showing in some national polls, but in early states, Iowa, New Hampshire, and Michigan, he has been doing much better than that.
Meanwhile, there has been a lot of discussion of Rudy’s abortion comments in here. They are inarguably a gaffe of the first order–stunning really.
