Re: President’s Speech — Afterthoughts

Just one more thought, please?

One of the President’s strongest points was, as John Hood correctly observed, the one about “if we don’t fight the terrorists over there, we’ll have to fight them over here.”

It’s a good line, and not completely devoid of content. Alas, it will lose its appeal utterly and completely about ten seconds after the next terrorist atrocity on U.S. soil.
