Federal officials tell us there’s no concern about the discovery of a military launcher tube, found this morning on a New Jersey woman’s lawn.
It is decidedly not an anti-aircraft weapon.
It’s an Army anti-tank launcher from a use-once-and-throw-away weapon. Investigators believe it was used in a military training exercise (the weapon had been fired) and that some soldier or guardsman probably took it as a souvenir then chucked it or lost it.
