An overwhelming majority of likely voters believe that race relations haven’t improved since the election of President Obama according to a new poll from Rasmussen.
In a poll conducted on August 27 and 28, nearly nine out of ten likely U.S. voters said they believe that race relations have stayed the same or gotten worse since the election of the nation’s first black president.
Still, 69 percent believe that race relations in the United States are better than they were 50 years ago. Only 13 percent believe relations are worse now, and 15 percent think they’re about the same.
