A new Rasmussen poll shows a plurality of Americans believe President Obama’s views are “extreme.”
Forty-eight percent of respondents believe the president’s views are “extreme,” while just 42 percent believe they are within the “mainstream.” Tellingly, among independents, the extreme/mainstream split was 54/30.
The numbers are even less favorable for congressional Democrats. A majority of 57 percent of Americans view the Democratic congressional agenda as extreme.
