Everyone talks about politics. You know who knows about politics, a lot? Fred Barnes. He is Mona’s and my guest on the latest Need to Know. We talk about presidential politics, naturally — with a focus on Hillary Clinton. Will she really be the Democrats’ nominee? Will she be President No. 45? Are we “ready” for Hillary? Can we stand four more years? Or eight?
Let’s quickly move on to …
Trump. Mona and I agree on him, largely. We disagree strongly on Ted Cruz. (She’s agin, I’m fer.) We agree on Marco (though I’m a Cruzer). We agree on Iran. (We’re against, where the dictatorship is concerned. In other words, we’re pro-Iranian. And pro-freedom, and -peace.)
We end our podcast with a little music, which can soothe the savage breast, but also rile up the meek one. Music is flexible that way.
