The Food of Love

My latest Q&A podcast is not a normal Q&A, or a real Q&A: It’s like the podcast of Christmas music I did several weeks back. This is a program of love music, or music related to love, in honor of Valentine’s Day.

There are reams and reams of music related to love, especially in the vocal field. I play nine tracks, most of them vocal, but some not. We begin with Handel (“Where’er you walk”), and go on with Tchaikovsky, Fauré, Puccini, Brahms, and others. I end with what I call “the greatest love song ever written.” I’m just being rhetorical, but the rhetoric has grounding. (Actually, this music lifts off the ground and transcends.)

So, here is that podcast again, for lovers and music-lovers.
