‘The Perfect Foil for Obama’

If you haven’t already, be sure and check in on Reihan’s new blog — The Agenda. Today he’s got a post up on Mitch Daniels that, aside from noting the work yours truly has done on Daniels, nicely compliments Rich’s fine column today on how the popular Indiana governor could show the GOP the way. Reihan’s concluding statement about Daniels is particularly true, I think: 

In November, I argued that Daniels was the perfect foil for Obama, and I still believe it. Conservatives are eager to find another Reagan. But what conservatives really need is an unostentatiously smart, accessible tightwad.
