I starting reading NRO last year before the November elections. I work in a chemistry department at a university in the southwest, and not only were Obama political posters present, but T-shirts and discussions were rampant. There was even a comment section on a chalkboard in the common area “devoted” to Sarah Palin. (I think Letterman got some of his stuff off of it.) We even had the obligatory “move to Canada” crowd, if McCain was elected. It was nasty, to say the least, and I kept my mouth shut. You became a lifeline because I had no one to talk to that felt the way I did. So I “talked” to you.
