When I asked readers to speculate on whether there was another possibility with the Tony Shaffer revelations other than cataclysm for the Pentagon and the 9/11 Commission if true or the ruination of his career if not — what I called option D — many responded that there was, in fact, an option D: That Shaffer is telling the truth but that because the 9/11 commission was only useful to the MSM as a weapon to try to defeat Bush with and because the Bush administration doesn’t have any reason to make a big deal about them, the whole story will begin to die out slowly but surely.
I don’t think so, because this is just too big a deal to get the oxygen choke-off treatment — especially if other members of the Able Danger unit start coming forward.
