An assistant to President Obama has been arrested for firing a gun at her boyfriend. (Read about it here.) Okay. That sort of thing happens in life. But can you imagine if an assistant to Bush (or Reagan or any other Republican) had done this? We’d be treated to weeks of media sermonizing about the Right and guns (and lunacy).
