Obama Bets on Reid

President Obama once said, memorably, that when times are tough, “you don’t blow a bunch of cash on Vegas.” He is, however, more than willing to blow some time there. Early next month, the president will reportedly be back on the strip to stump for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D., Nev.), who is facing a tough reelection fight against Republican Sharron Angle. After Deeds, Corzine, Coakley, and Specter, one wonders whether Reid is excited about the visit.
