The headline reads “Romneys Court Women Alienated by Contraception Issue.” But when you read the story by Ashley Parker, there is not a single word about contraception, social issues, or even health coverage. It seems that Ann Romney has been campaigning explicitly for women’s votes saying things like this: “I love that women are upset too; that women are talking about the economy.” And Mr. Romney has referred to “moms driving their kids to school and practice after school and other appointments, and wonder how they can afford putting gasoline in the car . . .”
