NJ Marriage Poll

I have seen polls indicating that in New Jersey, more people support same-sex marriage than oppose it. But here’s a poll from Rasmussen Reports that says just the opposite. According to Rasmussen, 54% of New Jersey voters believe that marriage is defined as the union of a man and a woman only. On the other hand, 42% of Garden State voters believe that marriage is the union of any two people. That’s high compared to most states, but it’s still noticeably below the number who define marriage in the traditional manner.
