Folks, I’m trying very hard, but I’m afraid I just can’t get excited by the inaugural hoopla. I don’t mean to disparage those who find this to be an exciting political moment or a wonderful secular ceremony. But I just can’t muster much oomph. I’m going to a couple events, so maybe I’ll get my groove on, but for now I’m decidedly in the ho-hum camp.
