Following yesterday’s court decision to strike down New York City’s looming soda ban, the Morning Joe crew had some fun at the expense of co-host Mika Brzezinski, a major supporter of the ban who calls soda “poison.” While she read the news, Joe Scarborough and the rest of the panel mocked Brzezinski’s irritation with the ruling, with Scarborough reaching for a sip of soda at one point. He was later outdone by the show’s producer, who appeared wearing a drinking helmet spilling over with Coke.
