More on Huckabee and the Club

Last week, I mentioned Arkansas businessman Jackson “Steve” Stephens’ funding of the August Club for Growth ad attacking Mike Huckabee.  The Club, or more accurately, Club for Growth.net, put out another anti-Huckabee ad early this month, and now, disclosure forms posted yesterday by the IRS show that Club for Growth.net received a $100,000 contribution on November 16 from John W. Childs, a Boston financier who has contributed to the Romney campaign.  (Childs is a prolific contributor, giving to Republican committees, congressional candidates, and the early campaigns of George Allen and Bill Frist.)
