While driving the kids to school, I was listening to the local talk radio here in Huntsville, AL and they went live to ABC coverage of the 8:49 (7:49 central) national anthem and moment of silence. The ABC people talked through the national anthem and the NATIONWIDE moment of silence. They talked about people suing for health problems. After 10 minutes, the local host and cohost came on and apologized for ABCs coverage. Both said they had already contacted ABC News to complain that it was the NATIONAL ANTHEM and you are not supposed to talk through it and a MOMENT OF SILENCE applies to everyone, even ABC talking heads.
