Metaphysics

Jonah:  I’ll confess I’ve always been attracted to the school called Australian Materialism, which, IMS (this was back in the 1950s) claimed that absolutely everything was solid matter, including virtue, truth, and beauty.  But I wouldn’t swear I haven’t misremembered it.  Or possibly my fevered imagination engendered it ex nihilo after too many viewings of the Monty Python “Bruces” sketch, which for some reason I can find on YouTube only in Polish.
