Kathryn, most striking to me in that box of numbers, perhaps because I live next door, is that the biggest GOP deficit is Kean-Menendez. Now the Keans are my faves only as WASP trilobites. But Menendez is a crook–a raspy-voiced-associate-calls-you-on-the-phone-and-makes-you-an-offer crook. Yet he appears to be the clear favorite of New Jersey. Garden State indeed.
