O.K., O.K. … if McCain does not win South Carolina, that’s two big losses in a row (in two very different states, both of which have strategic significance) and his campaign is hurting badly. Can we all agree on that? (Yes, I think Ramesh’s point below is correct, i.e., a Huckabee win in S.C. damages McCain badly.) But look for the McCain spinners to claim that second place is an important victory.
