McCain and Laura

It’s very interesting that McCain has chosen to appear on Laura’s show today.  She is sure to grill him about the pro-choice running mate thing, so what does he plan to say?  Does he want to reassure social conservatives?  If so, how?  I asked someone in the McCain camp about it this morning, and got this back:

He’s on the show for exactly the reason you mentioned. He hasn’t been on in awhile — and he recognizes the importance of maintaining ties with conservative listeners.  His intention is to talk about the Saddleback Forum. I think your suspicions about his being “grilled” could be correct — but when you’re running against media-celebrity Barack Obama a tough interview isn’t out of the norm, so he’ll be fine, I think.
