At Least Saddam had a Hidey-hole

Pakistan has apprehended Muhammad al Misri, al Qaeda’s former chief trainer and planner of a recent wave of terror in that country. He and two accomplices were hunkered down for a week in an abandoned factory before they were picked up. Is that what passes for an al Qaeda safe house these days? You have to wonder about the security system of a terror movement that allows top leaders to stay in a place like that for even a day let alone languishing there a week. Very poor tradecraft. People looking for metrics of progress in the GWOT should take note — not just the fact of the takedown but how it came about.
