At the moment, there are three great issues at the forefront of our national politics: the continuing upheaval in the Arab world, the fight over funding the government for the rest of this fiscal year, and the question of whether and how we should reform our entitlement system in the coming years. Is it not a little peculiar that no one can really say exactly what the position of the President of the United States is regarding any of these matters?
