Laffey has said he will support Chafee in the general election. He’s been saying this for quite a while, in fact. For what it’s worth, when I contacted the Chafee campaign a couple of months ago to see if Chafee would support a victorious, GOP-nominated Laffey in the general election, the answer was not “yes.”
