On the third anniversary of Obamacare’s passage, with the Senate passing a non-binding resolution to kill the bill’s medical-device tax, Charles Krauthammer argued that the program will eventually become so costly that Americans will clamor to replace it with a Canadian-style system: “People are going to say in a couple years, ‘Why don’t we adopt a Canadian system, cut out the middleman, and stop all the waste, and simply have a simple system. Government’s completely in control anyway, so let’s have it done honestly and cleanly.’”
