Jack, of course the last crown prince of Austria-Hungary, Bohemia and Croatia became an advocate of European Federation. He can be forgiven that error: it was in a sense his family business. He was a good man, and for decades a living, and forceful, reminder to Western Europeans of that other Europe trapped behind Moscow’s Iron Curtain. RIP.
