As has been noted by Jim and Dominic, I can’t even begin to keep up with the comments on Twitter happily raging at me this week for daring to suggest that Jason Aldean could have done better than “Try That In a Small Town.” I wrote a few additional thoughts on the reaction here for my fortnightly column for Our Sunday Visitor because I’m a glutton for punishment, apparently.
I knew people wouldn’t be happy with me, but, goodness, some of the things people are willing to say . . .
Also: I am a lifelong country-music fan, and amusingly have had Jason Aldean’s “Night Train” stuck in my head for about 24 hours.
