Tim I wasn’t questioning the reporter’s facts so much as I was quibbling with conservatives, I guess. On some issues, the president probably doesn’t get the appreciation he deserves—abortion is one of them. If he gets a few good judges with solid records on the Supreme Court, who don’t read new rights into the Constitution at will, that he does not shout “FMA” from the rooftops will be O.K. with me—and would be far from being “absent” on “social conservative” issues. He would have done more than a lot of intense rhetoric would ever do.
