I Want My Maypole

Those notions may be “conservative,” Derb, or they may not. What I do know is that, given such opinions about the unseriousness of U.S. foreign policy and the value of euthenasia, you really ought to have voted for Kerry. As for my putative belief that Iraqis will be dancing around maypoles in Iraq and lack of concern about nukes in the hands of North Korea and Iran — ouch, you got me. Once I have recovered from that coruscatingly witty riposte, I will immediately hasten to read some speech by Clinton’s defense secretary that will allow me to get up to speed on how to be serious about these matters. I gather that’s what it took for you to get concerned.
