I Confess

Last night I went on Hugh Hewitt’s show and revealed my true identity. I, like Andrew Sullivan’s torture-denouncers, am an enthnomusicologist. And you can read here my case for why you should only listen to us ethnomusicologists on subjects about which we know absolutely nothing! Warning to Andrew Sullivan: There are jokes. Warning to graduates of the University of Chicago: There are jokes about the University of Chicago. Advice to the University of Chicago: Hire Andrew Sullivan, because I hear the other day somebody smiled on campus and we just can’t have that, now can we? Not while Bush and Cheney are in power!
