JPod: I agree that she’s incredibly formidable, especially in the Democrat primaries. My own sense is that many of the other candidates will be extremely reluctant to criticize her, making it that much harder for them to distinguish themselves. To a certain extent, the Democratic presidential field will really be a vice-presidential field — many of them will be trying out for the role of running mate. Gore won’t, and Kerry probably won’t, but all of the others will see the veep nomination as an attractive outcome.
