Jim – One clarification. The primer in Scientific American I spoke well of is merely that boxed chart showing the difference in discount rates. I didn’t think the article itself was disastrous, but I did find it sufficiently plodding that I didn’t read it straight through and so I don’t have a strong opinion on it one way or another.
