Honor, Loyalty . . .

Even if the McCain campaign won’t, “Team Sarah” comes to the defense of Sarah Palin:

“I have news for everyone – the campaign is over.  Unfortunately, the hateful campaigning against Governor Sarah Palin continues on, perpetuated by those threatened by her meteoric rise,” said Team Sarah Co-Founder Jane Abraham.  “Despite the unfounded vitriol and criticism, Governor Palin’s success will endure.  Sarah Palin’s success story is just beginning and it will take more than some baseless remarks from a few malcontents to stop her rise in American politics.  Governor Palin will continue to influence American politics:  her reputation as a fighter against corruption, an expert on energy, and a voice for modern American women balancing work and family cannot and will not be ignored.”

Sarah Palin previously served as Chair of the Alaska Oil and Gas Commission.  As Alaska Governor, she earned approval ratings over 80% after challenging corruption within her own party and successfully negotiating the construction of a natural gas pipeline.  Her vice presidential candidacy attracted millions of supporters nationwide.

“Team Sarah’s thousands of members remain as engaged as ever on TeamSarah.org,” said Team Sarah Co-Founder and Susan B. Anthony List President Marjorie Dannenfelser.  “As soon as the post-election criticism and blaming began, Team Sarah members reasserted their commitment to and defense of America’s brightest female political star—Alaska Governor Sarah Palin.  She has inspired millions, and her audience of enthusiastic support will only grow in the future.”
