Sen. Clinton’s new, er, evolving position must explain her husband’s failure to act after Khobar Towers — the 1996 bombing by Iran of the complex housing American military personnel in Saudi Arabia which resulted in the murder of 19 members of the United States Air Force. President Clinton did nothing in response. I guess he must have been waiting for congressional authorization … though he never asked for it.
