The U.S. Supreme Court accepted cert on the Hamdi case today. Oral arguments will be scheduled for the spring, and an opinion will likely issue sometime in June. The Supremes may yet hear the Padilla case as well, as the Solicitor General’s office will petition the Court for review in that case within the next two weeks.
