I noted the other day how Harris has been catching up on the economy. The new Issues & Insights/TIPP poll shows her basically tied with Trump on this cluster of issues. On “growing the economy,” it’s Trump at 49 percent and Harris at 48, while they are tied on “cutting inflation,” 47–47. They are also tied on “cutting spending,” 46–46. And she’s a little ahead on “reducing taxes,” 48–45, and “ensuring energy security/energy independence,” 48–47. This has to be a major warning sign for the Trump campaign.
