Rick: I’m no genius when it comes to learning foreign languages, but I have heard it said that English is one of the easiest languages to learn to speak poorly. That’s one of the reasons why the minimal language requirement that most naturalization applicants must meet shouldn’t be regarded as too much of a burden.
